BUSY AUTUMN AHEAD FOR ACADEMY

City of Newport Gymnastic Academy is now approaching a very busy period in the calendar. During September, gymnasts will represent the academy in the boys National Development Plan club grades in Cardiff, girls will compete in the Age group levels and regional 6 and 5 levels competition. A selection of girls will also represent the academy at the Quattro Cup in Wiltshire in October. The Academy will host its annual championships in November and a Christmas show in December. A selection of boys will also represent the academy at the annual floor and vault competition in December. Several coaches will be attending the men’s artistic judging courses in September and women’s artistic club judge course in October. There will be a significant amount of new members starting in September and a new Saturday/Sunday beginner class starting 30th September 2017. The academy is doing well and the standard of gymnastics and quality of coaching is improving all the time.

NEW MEMBERSHIP YEAR 2017/2018 – General Data Protection Regulation

Parents will now be involved in registering their own child/children and paying for their membership with British Gymnastics (on line) from 1sts October 2017. The academy will guide all members to this new procedure of registering their child in accordance with the governing body regulation and General Data Protection Regulation Policy.

NEW PREMISES

As many of you may know we are in the process of moving premises and hopefully will be fully operational in the new premises by end of December 2017. We will keep all members up to date on the move. We would ask that anyone who can help with moving please contact the Directors of the Academy.
